Highlights of Julius Meléndez's career include work with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Carlos Santana. Meléndez contributed to the multiple-Grammy Award-winning albums SUPERNATURAL and SHAMAN, featuring on tracks like "Smooth" and "Game of Love." This foundational work led to the first of his multiple Grammy Awards.
He also had extensive collaborations with legendary artists, including Giovanni Hidalgo, Tito Puente Sr. & Jr., Celia Cruz, Arturo Sandoval, and Orestes Vilato.
His talents also garnered recognition for contributions to four albums by Conjunto Céspedes, two of which were named Album of the Year at the NAIRD Indie Awards.
